POSTPONED - CIBSE W Midlands YEN: SDE Launch Event & Introduction to BIM Level 2

The West Midlands CIBSE Young Engineers Network (YEN) would like to invite you to our upcoming CPD event:

“The Society of Digital Engineering Launch Event & Introduction to BIM Level 2.”

Speaker - Carl Collins, Digital Engineering Consultant
Timing  - 6:00pm - 7:30pm

This CPD event will cover the followings: 

• SDE Launch event slideshow– Explains logic and purpose of SDE:

Montage of scrolling images to music by way of introduction to digital engineering and the sponsors of the SDE, followed by a few slides outlining what the CIBSE Digital Steering Group has done over the past few years and what the Society is looking to do in the next few years.

• Introduction to BIM Level 2:

Overview of what “BIM Level 2” involves and the considerations that may be made during the various work stages by building services engineers. Includes some “digital techniques” that are not part of “BIM Level 2”, but are more akin to Digital Engineering and the difference between these two concepts will be explained.

Refreshments will be available and the event will close with drinks and the opportunity to network with fellow members and industry peers.
