About the event

The Simulation of buildings is going through a fast transformation period with the increase use of coding to simulate and analyse buildings. As the industry realising the power of these developments, a new generation of coding design engineers is appearing and many more are keen on expanding their knowledge on coding.

This free seminar is organised by the CIBSE Building Simulation Group, which is aimed at providing insight into coding and how to maximise the benefit of simulation packages. This event will be led by experts in building simulation and people from all backgrounds are welcome to attend.

Speakers:

Tom James (Baily Garner) – (Title of presentation TBC)
Annie Marston (Sim2) - “Simulation diagnostics”
Cormac Glynn (IES) – “Advancing simulation capabilities in the IES Virtual Environment using python coding”
Mattia Donato (Arup) - “Unleash the unconventional: from game engine to co-simulation platforms for building performance analyses”
